The LMG was widely used in the early years of the 432s career, before it was replaced by the GPMG. The LMG was adapted from the Bren gun. The straight muzzle replaced the flared one of the Bren. Also a straighter magazine is used to hold the 7.62 rounds. When mounted on a 432, the LMG has its own type of cradle, quite different from the GPMG one.
