The Fv438 Rocket Launcher was the first of its type to enter service with the British Army. The British Aerospace Dynamics 'Swingfire' missile, which is mounted in two launcher bins on top of the rear of the hull, has a range of 4,000 metres. Another 14 other missiles are carried inside the vehicle. The wire guided missile can be fired from the safety of the vehicle or remotely from up to 100m using a separate sight.
